Taiwan High Speed Rail Introduction
Taiwan's high-speed railway is 345 kilometers long. It is a high-speed railway system connecting Taipei and Kaohsiung. It is connected to major cities in Taiwan in the north and south. It is currently set up in Nangang (opened on 2016/07/01), Taipei, Banqiao, Taoyuan, Hsinchu and Miaoli. Twelve stations in Taichung, Changhua, Yunlin, Chiayi, Tainan and Kaohsiung (Zuoying).
There are 12 high-speed rail cars, 1 commercial car (66 seats) and 11 standard cars (923 seats). All train seats can be rotated 180 degrees. The standard compartments are located in the first to fifth, seventh to twelfth compartments, with a seat configuration of 2+3, a total of 83 seats per seat and a total of 923 seats.
